Dementia Australia offers a broad range of sessions and group programs for family members, friends and carers of a loved one living with Dementia. We were fortunate enough to run a session for the Parish community on 6th <\/sup>March, 2019, which ran for one hour with approximately 50 people in attendance. The session was very informative and engaging in covering a broad range of topics such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n This was a successful event in raising awareness and educating the parish community on dementia. Unfortunately, today there is no cure yet for dementia, however, even if we find a effective cure for dementia, it\u2019s better to increase our awareness of this complex condition in order to prevent the risks factors of dementia as early as possible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
